Deputy Commissioner Dr. Rashid Masood Khan has emphasized the critical importance of a dedicated approach to the upcoming anti-polio campaign in Mirpurkhas. The well-being of children in the region hinges on the complete eradication of polio, making this campaign a top priority.

Dr. Khan recently chaired a significant meeting with key health officials to discuss the campaign's objectives. The primary goal is to vaccinate 348,000 children under five years old from July 1st to 5th. To ensure full coverage, Dr. Khan has instructed health officials to focus on reaching the 4,279 children who missed out on polio drops during the previous campaign.

While the current polio vaccination efficiency ratio stands at an impressive 98.3 percent, Dr. Khan has stressed the need for further improvement. He highlighted the seriousness and dedication required for the campaign to secure a polio-free future for Mirpurkhas' children.
