The official tourism season in Kaghan Valley begins with the reopening of the MNJ road, allowing access to Saif-ul-Mulook Lake and boosting the region's tourism sector.

The official tourism season in Kaghan Valley has kicked off with the reopening of the Mansehra Naran Jalkhad (MNJ) road. This significant milestone was achieved thanks to the collaborative efforts of key officials, including the Advisor for Tourism and Culture, Zahid Chan Zaib, and Director-General Kaghan Development Authority (KDA), Shabir Khan.

With the guidance of Assistant Director Nauman Khan and Inspector Faizan, the Engineering Wing of KDA worked tirelessly over the past three days to clear obstacles along the Jheel Road. The main objective of this endeavor is to improve the tourist experience by granting access to the breathtaking natural beauty of Saif-ul-Mulook Lake, nestled at an elevation of 10,577 feet above sea level amidst snow-capped peaks.

Despite encountering various challenges, the dedicated KDA staff utilized heavy machinery to eliminate debris and mudslides along the challenging eight-kilometer Jheel Road from Naran to Saif-ul-Mulook Lake. It is expected that the jeep road leading to Saif-ul-Mulook Lake will be fully cleared within the next five to six days, opening the doors for an influx of tourists eager to discover the picturesque landscapes and serenity of Kaghan Valley, thereby giving a boost to the region's tourism sector.

The reopening of the MNJ road signifies the beginning of a vibrant tourism season in Kaghan Valley, offering visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in the natural wonders of the region. As travelers flock to explore the beauty of Saif-ul-Mulook Lake and its surroundings, the local tourism sector is poised for growth and prosperity. This development not only enhances the visitor experience but also contributes to the economic well-being of Kaghan Valley, making it a must-visit destination for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers alike.
