Karachi police arrest two suspects trained by RAW, found with weapons. The operation reveals a coordinated terrorism network, emphasizing the challenges of cross-border intelligence operations.

Recently, the police in Karachi made a significant breakthrough by apprehending two individuals suspected of being trained by the Indian intelligence agency RAW. The suspects, Sheikh Mohammed Ayub and Ahsan Raza, were found in possession of weapons, including hand grenades, during the operation. This action was based on information gathered from previously detained individuals with ties to RAW.

According to Korangi SSP Hassan Sardar Niazi, one of the suspects, Ayub Ansari, had been living illegally in Pakistan since 1998. Ansari, who originally came from Mumbai to Karachi on a visit visa, managed to fraudulently obtain a Pakistani passport and CNIC. The police statement revealed that RAW has been operating a coordinated terrorism network across multiple countries.

Ayub Ansari, the arrested suspect, was allegedly involved in surveilling potential targets for planned assassinations. Authorities believe that dismantling this suspected RAW network in Karachi is a significant step in combating such illicit activities.

The arrest of these individuals linked to RAW highlights the ongoing challenges posed by cross-border intelligence operations. It underscores the importance of international cooperation in addressing security threats and maintaining peace in the region. By disrupting such networks, law enforcement agencies aim to safeguard the lives of civilians and ensure a secure environment for all.
