Recently, a case has been registered against three policemen in Karachi after they were found guilty of kidnapping a citizen for ransom. The accused officers, Sub-Inspector Mukhtar Ahmad, ASI Muhammad Ramzan, and constable Shamsher, who were part of the Anti-Vehicle Car Lifting Wing, abducted Rafiullah in a ransom scheme.

Following a complaint, a police team conducted an inquiry into the matter and determined that the three officers had indeed kidnapped the complainant for ransom. As a result, the Karachi police chief intervened, ordering the registration of a case against the suspects.

In a statement, the Karachi police chief emphasized the commitment of the police force to safeguarding the lives and property of citizens and pledged to eliminate any individuals who disrupt the maintenance of law and order.
