Karachi Police Enhances Security for Eid-ul-Azha Prayers

As the city of Karachi prepares for the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha prayers, security arrangements have been significantly strengthened to ensure the safety and well-being of its residents. Approximately 12,781 police officers have been deployed across the city under the supervision of Additional IGP Karachi, Imran Yaqoob Minhas. This deployment includes 5,600 officers in the East Zone, 3,656 in the South Zone, and 3,525 in the West Zone. Moreover, around 2,170 officers will be stationed at collection points for sacrificial animal hides, emphasizing the importance of maintaining order and security during this festive period.

In addition to the increased police presence, enhanced security measures have been put in place at major shopping centers, markets, and other crowded areas to mitigate any potential risks. The traffic police have also been instructed to manage traffic flow effectively to prevent congestion and ensure smooth movement throughout the city. These proactive steps aim to create a secure environment for citizens to celebrate Eid-ul-Azha peacefully and joyfully.
