District police in Dera Ismail Khan apprehend four drug traffickers, seize narcotics and weapons, initiating legal action against the accused.

In a significant development, the district police in Dera Ismail Khan have apprehended four individuals involved in drug trafficking and seized a substantial amount of narcotics. The operation was carried out as part of a broader crackdown on anti-social elements in the area, overseen by District Police Officer Nasir Mehmood.

The suspects, identified as Mansoor, Shahzad, Abdul Sattar, and Abdul Manan, were taken into custody by the cantt police. Upon searching the accused, law enforcement officials discovered a total of 715 grams of ice drug, 225 grams of another substance, and a 30-bore pistol in their possession.

Following the arrests, cases have been filed against each individual, and legal proceedings are now underway to address their alleged involvement in drug-related activities.

The successful operation conducted by the district police in Dera Ismail Khan highlights their commitment to combating drug trafficking and ensuring the safety of the community.
