Karachi Port Trust handles 120,553 Metric Tons in 24 hours

Karachi Port Trust (KPT) has reported the movements of ships at the port over the last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours on Tuesday. During this period, the total cargo handled at Karachi Port amounted to 120,553 Metric Tons.

The breakdown of the cargo reveals that the port managed 64,884 Metric Tons of export cargo and 55,669 Metric Tons of import cargo. This signifies a significant volume of trade activity passing through Karachi Port, highlighting its importance as a key hub for both imports and exports in the region.

With such substantial cargo handling figures, Karachi Port continues to play a crucial role in facilitating trade and commerce, connecting Pakistan to global markets.
