The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has made significant progress in its recovery campaign, managing to collect more than Rs 7.39 million from 298 chronic defaulters across its five districts. This achievement was reached on the 199th day of the campaign, showcasing the company's commitment to resolving outstanding dues.

  • SE Nisar Sarwar recovered Rs 0.66 million from 35 defaulters in the Northern Circle.
  • SE Umar Bilal collected Rs 0.91 million from 60 defaulters in the Eastern Circle.
  • SE Shabbir retrieved Rs 0.63 million from 18 defaulters in the Central Circle.
  • SE Zafarullah Saanghi managed to recover Rs 0.14 million from 26 defaulters in the South Circle.
  • SE Muhammad Hussain successfully obtained Rs 0.49 million from 27 defaulters in the Nankana Circle.
  • SE Najamul Hassan led the recovery with Rs 3.08 million from 80 defaulters in the Sheikhupura Circle.
  • SE Jamshed Zaman secured Rs 0.50 million from 27 defaulters in the Okara Circle.
  • SE Ahmed Shahzad Chughtai closed the recovery efforts with Rs 0.98 million from 25 defaulters in the Kasur Circle.

Overall, LESCO has recovered a total of Rs 2.86 billion from 99,673 defaulters, including deceased individuals. The company's diligent approach has resulted in the collection of Rs 422.76 million from 14,493 defaulters in the Northern Circle, Rs 670.18 million from 12,874 defaulters in the Eastern Circle, and Rs 379.28 million from defaulters in other areas.

The successful recovery efforts by LESCO demonstrate its commitment to ensuring timely payments and resolving outstanding dues. By targeting chronic defaulters across its districts, the company has made significant progress in improving its financial stability and operational efficiency.
