LESCO's recovery campaign sees success with Rs 7.39 million collected from chronic defaulters. SE Najamul Hassan leads with Rs 3.08 million recovery in Sheikhupura Circle, contributing to a total of Rs 2.86 billion recovered from 99,673 defaulters.
The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has made significant progress in its recovery campaign, managing to collect more than Rs 7.39 million from 298 chronic defaulters across its five districts. This achievement was reached on the 199th day of the campaign, showcasing the company's commitment to resolving outstanding dues.
Overall, LESCO has recovered a total of Rs 2.86 billion from 99,673 defaulters, including deceased individuals. The company's diligent approach has resulted in the collection of Rs 422.76 million from 14,493 defaulters in the Northern Circle, Rs 670.18 million from 12,874 defaulters in the Eastern Circle, and Rs 379.28 million from defaulters in other areas.
The successful recovery efforts by LESCO demonstrate its commitment to ensuring timely payments and resolving outstanding dues. By targeting chronic defaulters across its districts, the company has made significant progress in improving its financial stability and operational efficiency.
