WASA Multan, under MD Chaudhary Muhammad Danish, disconnects 148 defaulters' connections for non-payment, stressing financial responsibility for utility bills.

On May 18, 2024, the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) in Multan took decisive action against defaulters who had failed to pay their dues. This crackdown was led by Managing Director Chaudhary Muhammad Danish, who oversaw the disconnection of 148 connections belonging to both residential and commercial consumers.

The teams responsible for these disconnections, under the leadership of Director Engineering and Recovery Abdul Salam, diligently pursued the defaulters. Those affected were given a final opportunity to clear their outstanding payments before facing severe consequences, including the termination of their services.

This move by WASA aims to ensure that all consumers fulfill their financial obligations promptly, thereby maintaining the efficiency and sustainability of the water and sanitation services provided in Multan.

It is crucial for consumers to prioritize timely payment of their utility bills to avoid disruptions in essential services. By enforcing strict measures against defaulters, WASA is emphasizing the importance of financial responsibility and accountability within the community. This initiative ultimately benefits all residents by ensuring the continued provision of reliable water and sanitation services.
