The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore has recovered Rs. 93.3 million in corruption money, showcasing its commitment to combat corruption in Pakistan. The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore has successfully recovered Rs. 93.3 million in corruption money, marking a significant achievement in the fight against corruption in Pakistan. This recovery was made possible through the dedicated efforts of the NAB Lahore investigation team, led by Director General Amjad Majeed Aulakh. The investigations targeted various corruption cases, including those involving former Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and others, such as the C&W Department scandal, Punjab Bank Scandal, Beetle Leaf Reference, and the Innovative Investment Bank Scandal.

At a ceremony held at the NAB Lahore office, cheques totaling Rs. 87.5 million were handed over to Additional Secretary Finance Punjab Abdul Salam for cases related to Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and others. Additionally, a cheque of Rs. 3 million was given to Deputy Collector Customs Ejaz Shaheed for the Beetle Leaf Scandal. Cheques amounting to Rs. 2.7 million and Rs. 1.887 million were also presented to the Manager of the National Bank of Pakistan Shahpur Branch and Member of the Liquidation Board, Khawaja Waheed Raza, respectively.

Director General Amjad Majeed Aulakh emphasized the significant success of NAB Lahore in recovering billions of rupees, setting a new record in the ongoing battle against corruption in the country.
