Lahore Development Authority takes action against defaulters in Garden Town and Model Town Extension, sealing 24 properties for non-payment of commercialization fees. The importance of meeting financial obligations to avoid legal consequences is highlighted.
Recently, Lahore Development Authority (LDA) took action against defaulters who had not paid their commercialization fees as per the directives of Director General Tahir Farooq. The operation, led by Chief Town Planning Officer I, AsadUl Zaman, and directed by Director Town Planning Zone III, Sidra Tabasum, resulted in the sealing of twenty-four properties in Garden Town and Model Town Extension.
The sealed properties included various establishments such as grocery shops, showrooms, private schools, retail shops, and private offices. These properties collectively owed a significant amount in outstanding dues, amounting to millions of rupees. Despite receiving multiple notices to settle their dues, the owners failed to comply, leading to the enforcement action by LDA.
This operation highlights the importance of adhering to regulatory requirements and fulfilling financial obligations to avoid legal consequences. It serves as a reminder to property owners to stay updated on their dues and promptly settle any outstanding payments to avoid disruptions in their business operations.
