Makhdoom Qasim and Sons Accused in Tragic Shooting Incident

In a tragic incident in Muzaffargarh, two youngsters named Asad Bilal and Ali Hamza were allegedly shot dead on Eid day at Girls College road Kot Addu. The incident stemmed from a dispute between two groups, Makhdoom and Baryar, which had been escalating over the past few days.

It all began when unknown individuals fired at a member of the Makhdoom group named Kashif on April 5. In retaliation, the Makhdoom group accused Asad Bilal and Ali Hamza from the Baryar group of the attack. Despite assurances from Muhammad Rizwan uz Zaman, uncle of the deceased, that Asad Bilal was not involved, tensions continued to rise.

Allegedly, Makhdoom Qasim, a District Excise and Taxation Officer, along with his sons and accomplices, intercepted Asad Bilal and Ali Hamza on Eid day and opened fire, resulting in the tragic deaths of the two youngsters. The police have taken action by registering a case against Makhdoom Qasim, his sons, and their associates, and are currently conducting raids to apprehend the suspects.

This incident serves as a grim reminder of the consequences of unresolved conflicts and the importance of peaceful resolution to prevent such senseless loss of life in the future.
