He was rushed to Attock private Hospital but his condition deteriorated rapidly, leading to his referral to a renowned private hospital in Rawalpindi. After undergoing various tests, Imran was diagnosed with the Congo virus and unfortunately succumbed to the disease on the fifth day.

The deceased was brought back to the village from Rawalpindi Hospital in full protective gear and laid to rest following the necessary funeral rites.
