The Ministry of Federal Education is launching a project to improve Early Childhood Education in Pakistan by establishing ECE Centers in rural and urban areas. Dedicated teachers will ensure quality education for young children, supported by funding from PSDP and partnerships with organizations like Teach for Pakistan.

The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training is gearing up to introduce a new project aimed at enhancing Early Childhood Education (ECE) in both rural and urban areas. This initiative, funded by the Public Sector Development Programmes (PSDP), will see the establishment of ECE Centers in 50 rural and 10 urban educational institutions across the country.

Each center will be equipped with an ECE teacher and an assistant teacher, both provided by an Education Service provider. These dedicated educators will be committed to the project for a period of two years, ensuring continuity and quality in early childhood education.

Furthermore, a similar project is already in progress under the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) in partnership with Teach for Pakistan. This ongoing initiative focuses on higher classes and is also supported by funding from PSDP, highlighting the government's commitment to improving education at all levels.

The launch of the ECE Centers project by the Ministry of Federal Education marks a significant step towards enhancing early childhood education in Pakistan. By investing in quality education from a young age, the government aims to lay a strong foundation for the future generations, ultimately contributing to the overall development of the country.
