MRDL's Eid al-Azha initiative in Balochistan provides aid to 600 families, including the Sarwar family, showcasing long-term support and community welfare efforts.

As Eid al-Azha approaches, a heartwarming scene unfolds in the Sarwar village of Balochistan as a truck laden with essential supplies arrives to bring relief to disadvantaged families. For over two decades, dedicated drivers have been delivering aid packages during festive seasons, with this year being no exception. The Sarwar family, who recently suffered a loss, is greeted with warmth as aid is unloaded at their doorstep.

The MCC Resources Development Company (PVT.) Limited (MRDL), a Chinese company involved in the Saindak copper-gold project in Balochistan, has launched a commendable program for Eid al-Azha. Valued at Rs20 million, the initiative has seen the distribution of livestock and essential supplies to nearly 600 needy families across six villages in the province. Each family receives a package containing rice, noodles, cooking oil, and other essentials.

Of particular note is the support extended to the Sarwar family, which comprises 24 children. Over the years, MRDL has been a pillar of support, offering educational opportunities to the children and providing free water and electricity to the household. In light of a recent tragedy, the company has taken a step further by offering employment to two of the adult children, showcasing a commitment to long-term assistance.

Established in Pakistan in 2002, MRDL has a history of actively engaging in charitable endeavors during Eid festivals. This year's initiative not only seeks to provide immediate relief but also emphasizes sustainable support for families in need, embodying a spirit of compassion and community welfare.

The efforts of MRDL and the dedicated drivers exemplify the power of collective action in bringing relief and hope to vulnerable communities. As Eid al-Azha approaches, the spirit of giving shines brightly in Balochistan, reminding us of the importance of extending a helping hand to those in need.
