Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa of CDA is driving significant advancements in Islamabad's infrastructure through proactive project management, strict deadlines, and focus on quality work for timely completion.

Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), Muhammad Ali Randhawa, is actively overseeing various development projects in Islamabad to enhance the city's infrastructure. Among these projects are the Islamabad Expressway and Park Road expansion initiatives, which are crucial for improving connectivity and traffic flow in the capital.

Under Muhammad Ali's leadership, strict deadlines have been set for the completion of these projects, emphasizing the importance of high-quality work and adherence to schedules. He has directed close supervision by officials and timely relocation of utility lines to ensure smooth progress.

Currently, the Islamabad Expressway project is progressing well, with 75% of work completed on package one, which includes the construction of a railway bridge. The Chairman has set a deadline of July 15 for the finalization of this package, which features the T-Chowk intersection with major bridges and an underpass.

Furthermore, the Park Road expansion project is also making significant headway, with 85% of work done on the Western Carriageway. The project, spanning 7.2 kilometers, aims to enhance connectivity and ease traffic congestion in the area.

Chairman CDA has emphasized zero tolerance for delays in these projects and has instructed Assistant Commissioners and Engineering Wing officers to ensure efficient progress. The relocation of utility lines, including those of Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO), must be completed promptly to facilitate the road widening and improvement efforts.
