Governor Kundi Drives Infrastructure Development in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

The Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, has taken a proactive stance in enhancing communication facilities and road infrastructure in the province. In a recent meeting with officials from the National Highway Authority (NHA), Governor Kundi emphasized the importance of these upgrades to benefit the people and drive development in the region.

During the meeting, Governor Kundi highlighted the significance of upgrading the current road infrastructure, stating that it would not only boost trade, business, and economic opportunities for the residents but also improve overall connectivity within the province. He specifically called for the establishment of trauma centers and rest areas along the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) route to ensure timely emergency medical care and potentially save lives in case of accidents.

Furthermore, Governor Kundi directed the authorities to focus on enhancing connectivity between the provincial capital and the southern districts. He urged the preparation of a project plan for the construction of a trauma center on CPEC routes, the completion of the Naiwela Ramak Road, and the acceleration of work on the Shorkot-Chasma road project. Updates on the progress of the Sheikh Yousaf Yark and Pizzu-Tank Road projects were also discussed during the meeting.

Expressing concern over the lack of mobile signals on the Hakla-DI Khan Road, Governor Kundi instructed the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority to promptly address this issue to ensure seamless communication for the residents and travelers in the area.
