Chairman Anwar ul Haq leads green initiative in Islamabad

Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), Capt (R) Anwar ul Haq, has emphasized the significance of planting more trees in the city by directing the construction of additional nurseries. The CDA aims to enhance the greenery and beauty of Islamabad through proactive measures.

During a recent directive, Chairman Anwar ul Haq instructed the Environment Wing to plant a variety of fruit and flower trees across different locations in the city, particularly focusing on the spring season. He highlighted the importance of involving civil society and volunteers in the plantation campaign to maximize the planting efforts.

To ensure the safety and monitoring of the plantations, Chairman Anwar ul Haq emphasized the use of Geo-Tracking technology for digital surveillance. This technological approach will enable efficient monitoring of the planted trees throughout the city.
