Saudi Ministry distributes over 1.8 million Qur'an copies to returning Hajj pilgrims, promoting inclusivity, unity, and spiritual growth among diverse pilgrims.

Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance has launched a significant initiative by distributing 1,879,352 copies of the holy Qur’an to Hajj pilgrims returning from their pilgrimage. These copies, printed by the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur’an, are available in various sizes to suit the needs of the pilgrims.

As part of this effort, the ministry is also offering translations of the Qur’an in more than 77 languages, demonstrating their commitment to inclusivity and respect for all pilgrims. The distribution is taking place at key locations such as King Abdulaziz International Airport, Jeddah Islamic Port, and other exit points as pilgrims prepare to return to their home countries.

The recently concluded Hajj 2024 has seen pilgrims embarking on their journeys back home after completing their pilgrimage, with some also making a stop in Madinah as part of their spiritual journey.

The distribution of Qur’an copies to returning Hajj pilgrims reflects the Ministry's dedication to facilitating spiritual growth and providing essential resources to pilgrims from diverse backgrounds. This initiative not only promotes religious education but also fosters a sense of unity and understanding among pilgrims from around the world.
