Recently, the Tank police in Dera Ismail Khan successfully apprehended a group of eight thieves involved in various criminal activities. Led by District Police Officer Abdul Salam Khalid, a special team under Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) City Saleem Khan, along with City Police Station SHO Asghar Wazir and Inspector Fazal Badshah, managed to arrest the culprits and recover stolen items, including weapons and motorcycles.
The team's use of modern scientific techniques and professional skills played a crucial role in solving multiple theft cases. Individuals like Waheed, Kashif, Hazrat Umar, Muhammad Junaid, Fawad, Farhan, Shabbir Ahmed alias Toor, and Abdul Wahab were among those arrested, with stolen items ranging from motorcycles and mobile phones to laptops and pistols being seized.
