Pakpattan Police's successful 5-month operation led by DPO Tariq Wallayat results in the arrest of 694 drug peddlers and seizure of over Rs40 million worth of contraband, showcasing a strong commitment to eliminating drug trafficking and creating a safer community environment.

In a significant development in the fight against drug trafficking, the Pakpattan Police have conducted a successful operation over five months, resulting in the apprehension of 694 drug peddlers and the seizure of contraband worth more than Rs40 million. Led by District Police Officer (DPO) Tariq Wallayat, this operation marks a crucial step in eliminating the drug menace from the community.

During the operation, a substantial amount of illicit substances, including 333 kilograms of hashish, 32 kilograms of opium, one kilogram of heroin, and 8,500 liters of alcohol, were confiscated. Additionally, 27 alcohol stills were dismantled, disrupting local drug manufacturing and distribution networks.

DPO Tariq Wallayat's leadership and strategic measures have been instrumental in intensifying the crackdown on drug traffickers, showcasing the police force's commitment to protecting the community from the harmful effects of narcotics.
