District police in Dera Ismail Khan make significant arrests, seizing narcotics and cracking down on drug traffickers to maintain law and order.

In a recent development, the district police in Dera Ismail Khan have taken significant action against criminal activities by apprehending seven individuals, including four drug traffickers. This operation, which resulted in the seizure of over 1.6 kilograms of narcotics, is part of the intensified efforts led by District Police Officer Dera Nasir Mehmood to maintain law and order in the region.

During a targeted operation conducted by a team from Cantt police station, under the leadership of SDPO City Circle Muhammad Adnan and SHO Arslan Khan Gandapur, several arrests were made. Sabir, son of Ghulam Akbar, was caught with 1600 grams of hashish, while Shehzad, Asif, and Nadeem were apprehended with significant quantities of Ice drug.

Additionally, three other individuals, Jahanzeb, Muhammad Hayat, and Abdul Razzaq, were also taken into custody by the Cantt police team under the National Action Plan (NAP). Each accused individual has had separate cases registered against them to ensure accountability and uphold the rule of law.

This decisive action by the district police serves as a strong message against criminal elements operating in the area.
