Tragedy Strikes Lahore: Shopkeeper Killed, Another Injured

Tragedy struck on Model Town Link Road in Lahore as a crossfire between rival groups resulted in the untimely death of a passerby. The victim, identified as Muhammad Yunus, a 34-year-old shopkeeper from Gulburg, was caught in the line of fire and tragically succumbed to a bullet wound to the chest. Despite being rushed to Jinnah Hospital for urgent medical attention, Yunus could not be saved.

According to reports, the two rival gangs involved in the shootout fled the scene immediately after the incident, leaving behind a grieving family that insists Yunus had no known enemies. The bereaved family is now seeking justice and urging authorities to apprehend and punish the perpetrators responsible for this senseless act of violence.

In a separate incident in Lahore's Garhi Shahu area, a group of dacoits targeted local traders, including shopkeeper Malik Amir. When the dacoits attempted to rob Amir's shop, he bravely resisted their criminal activities. In the ensuing scuffle, Amir was shot and struck on the head with a pistol by the fleeing robbers.

Despite sustaining injuries, Amir's courageous actions forced the dacoits to flee the scene on a motorbike. Law enforcement authorities have launched a search operation in the area to track down the perpetrators and ensure the safety of the local community.
