Jhelum Authorities Capture Serial Killer, Bring Justice

In a recent development in Jhelum, authorities have successfully captured a serial killer suspected of being involved in the abduction and brutal murder of two individuals. The investigation was initiated when Iftikharul Hasan went missing after leaving his home for Mirpur. The Jhelum DPO launched a case of abduction and assigned the Mangla Cantt police station to locate the missing person. Through the use of modern technology, the Mangla Cantt police conducted a well-executed operation that led to the arrest of Muhammad Rehman.

During interrogation, the accused admitted to using a hammer to kill Iftikharul Hasan and burying the body within his residence. The victim's remains were found in the living room of the perpetrator. Further investigations uncovered that the suspect had also abducted, sexually assaulted, and murdered a woman named Nasreen Akhtar in the City police station's jurisdiction. A search team from the City police station recovered the woman's body from the accused's home.

With a criminal history that includes five previous cases, including the murder of a woman and involvement in a burglary, the apprehension of the perpetrator by law enforcement has brought justice to the affected families and ensured the community's safety.
