The Balochistan High Court judges have strongly opposed unauthorized surveillance of judges and their families, recommending legal action against perpetrators. They stress the need for a dialogue mechanism to ensure judicial independence.

The Balochistan High Court judges have taken a firm stance against the unauthorized telephone tapping and video recording of judges and their family members. This decision comes in light of recent allegations of 'interference' by security agencies in judicial matters, as highlighted in a letter by six Islamabad High Court judges.

The Supreme Court's larger bench is currently hearing the case regarding these allegations, with the BHC judges recommending legal action against those responsible for such activities. They have also proposed that agency representatives be barred from engaging in such practices and have suggested that complaints should be handled confidentially.

Furthermore, the judges have emphasized the importance of establishing a mechanism for dialogue between the judiciary and other branches of the state. This move is seen as a crucial opportunity for fostering cooperation and ensuring the independence of the judiciary.
