Islamabad police, under IGP's directives, intensify efforts to enforce traffic laws, enhance city safety, and improve traffic management using modern technology.

In response to special directives from Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, Islamabad police are ramping up efforts to ensure citizens’ safety and security. A public relations officer announced on Wednesday that a meeting was held under the supervision of DIG Safe City/Traffic at the Traffic Police Headquarters to review steps taken to manage city-wide traffic.

The focus of the meeting was on expediting the implementation of traffic laws in the federal capital and intensifying crackdowns on violators. As part of this initiative, modern mobile phones equipped with new technology were distributed to traffic officers to enhance the effectiveness of the e-challan system.

DIG Safe City/Traffic emphasized that the distribution of these mobile phones aims to ensure compliance with traffic laws and ultimately enhance city safety. The move is part of a broader strategy to improve traffic management and create a safer environment for all residents of Islamabad.

The proactive measures taken by Islamabad police, under the guidance of IGP Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, demonstrate a commitment to enhancing public safety and security. By leveraging modern technology and enforcing traffic laws more rigorously, the authorities aim to create a safer and more orderly traffic environment in the federal capital.
