The incident occurred on the Muzaffargarh-DG Khan Road within the constituency of PP-269, leaving Khan with critical wounds.

Khan, the son of Mohammad Ramzan Khan, had submitted his nomination papers and was assigned the symbol of a Sheep for the election. Following the unfortunate crash, a formal request was submitted to the local Election Commission on behalf of Khan, seeking his withdrawal from the electoral contest. The Returning Officer, AC Nasir Shahzad, endorsed the application, which was then forwarded to the Provincial Returning Officer for further action.

As a result of the injuries sustained in the accident, Khan was promptly transferred to Nishtar Hospital in Multan for urgent medical treatment. Reports indicate that he is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital to address the severity of his health condition.
