Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, convener of Awam Pakistan Party, criticizes political tactics, emphasizes constitutional governance, and aims for inclusivity and economic revival in Pakistan.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, the convener of the newly-formed Awam Pakistan Party, has been vocal about the current political scenario in Pakistan. Abbasi recently criticized Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif's offer for talks with the opposition, dismissing it as a mere political tactic. He also commented on the imprisonment conditions of PTI founder Imran Khan, highlighting that Khan is being treated like any other prisoner and is housed in a section established during Abbasi's own term as prime minister.

Expressing dissatisfaction with the performance of all political parties in Pakistan, including his former party PML-N, Abbasi took responsibility for both the successes and failures of his 35-year association with PML-N. He emphasized the need for governance in accordance with the constitution and criticized the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for allegedly being misused for political motives.

Abbasi stressed the importance of revitalizing the economy and inspiring hope in the youth. He mentioned that the process of registering Awam Pakistan Party is ongoing, with individuals from diverse backgrounds joining the party. The official unveiling of Awam Pakistan Party is scheduled for July 6 in Islamabad, with Abbasi as the convener and Miftah Ismail as his deputy.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi's stance on political issues in Pakistan reflects a call for transparency, constitutional governance, and economic revival. As the Awam Pakistan Party prepares for its official launch, Abbasi and his team aim to bring a fresh perspective to the political landscape, focusing on inclusivity and national progress.
