President Zelensky Calls for Enhanced Air Defense Support

Chernihiv, a city in northern Ukraine, was struck by a Russian missile attack on Wednesday, resulting in the tragic deaths of 16 individuals and leaving over 60, including three children, injured. The attack targeted an eight-story building in a densely populated area, causing significant damage to multiple structures in the vicinity.

Reports indicate that three missiles hit close to the city center, with the incident occurring shortly after news of a Ukrainian strike on a Russian military airfield in occupied Crimea. The aftermath of the attack in Chernihiv revealed a scene of devastation, with buildings, a hospital, cars, and an educational institution all sustaining damage.
