Sindh Assembly Pays Tribute to Late Iranian President Raisi

The Sindh Provincial Assembly recently passed a resolution to pay tribute to the late Iranian President Syed Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian, and others who tragically lost their lives in a helicopter crash. The resolution expressed deep condolences and sorrow over this unfortunate incident, highlighting the enduring friendship between Iran and Pakistan, which is deeply rooted in a shared history and cultural heritage.

Recalling the Iranian President's visit to Karachi in 2024, where he advocated for unity among Muslim nations and condemned Israeli actions, the assembly members, including the Opposition Leader, extended their sympathies to Iran and its people during this time of grief.

The session of the Provincial Assembly, which began with religious recitations, was adjourned until Wednesday after discussing the resolution.
