COMSATS and KTS Collaborate for IT Solutions

The Commission on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in the South (COMSATS) and Khas Technology Solutions (KTS) have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on developing IT-enabled solutions and conducting online professional training programs. This partnership aims to enhance high-skilled Human Resource Development (HRD) in fields such as Information and Communication Technology (ICT), DevSecOps, Information and Cyber Security (I&CS), Management, Business, Health, Cloud Computing, Medicine, and related technologies. The collaboration will leverage the 'iqrasity' Learning Management System (LMS) developed by both organizations.

COMSATS, an intergovernmental organization representing 27 developing countries, focuses on promoting Science and Technology (S&T) development among its Member States. It operates COMSATS Internet Services and COMSATS Software Solutions (CSS). On the other hand, KTS is a technology company specializing in ICT hardware and software development, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, DevSecOps services, and Enterprise software platforms, providing comprehensive IT solutions globally.

The agreement between the Executive Director of COMSATS and the Chief Executive Officer of KTS is aimed at strengthening CSS's capacity and technical resource base to support technical programs for Member States and the Network of S&T Centres of Excellence. This collaboration will enable the utilization of KTS' 'iqrasity' LMS for professional training programs across COMSATS states. The Memorandum of Understanding sets the stage for joint efforts in delivering solutions and services to relevant organizations in Pakistan and other COMSATS Member States.

The partnership between COMSATS and Khas Technology Solutions signifies a significant step towards advancing IT-enabled solutions and professional training programs in the fields of Science and Technology. This collaboration not only benefits the Member States but also contributes to the overall development of high-skilled human resources in key technological areas.
