TEVTA KP and OEC signed an MoU to provide language training and overseas job opportunities for skilled youth in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, aiming to empower them for the global workforce.

Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC) have recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance job prospects for skilled youth seeking opportunities abroad. This collaboration aims to provide language training and facilitate employment for TEVTA graduates in countries like Korea, Japan, and Germany.

The MoU signing ceremony, held at the Conference Room of the Industries, Commerce, and Technical Education Department, marked a significant step towards empowering the youth of KP. The Managing Director of TEVTA and the CEO of OEC formalized the agreement, underscoring their shared commitment to supporting the province's skilled workforce.

As per the MoU terms, TEVTA KP will have access to OEC's job portal, ensuring that young individuals stay informed about available overseas positions. Moreover, language training in key languages will be provided to equip TEVTA graduates with the necessary skills for international employment. This partnership seeks to strengthen coordination between OEC and TEVTA, enabling them to adapt to global market demands and prepare competent workers accordingly.

At the ceremony, the Special Assistant to KP CM on Industries, Commerce, and Technical Education emphasized the importance of this agreement in boosting youth employment and exporting skilled manpower from the province. He reiterated the government's dedication to implementing the MoU effectively and fostering continued collaboration in this vital area. The Special Assistant expressed optimism that this partnership will empower KP's youth to access global job markets, leveraging their talents with the requisite support and guidance.
