The 'Destination Imagination' programme in Qatar, supported by Al Faisal Without Borders Foundation, sees 18 schools qualifying for the Global Finals in the USA. This initiative aims to foster creativity and innovation among Qatari students on an international platform.

The 'Destination Imagination' programme in Qatar, organized by Al Faisal Without Borders Foundation and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, has witnessed remarkable participation from 96 schools and 202 teams, involving close to 2,000 students. This initiative aims to foster creativity and innovation among students through various challenges and competitions.

Out of the numerous schools that took part, 18 have successfully secured a spot in the Global Finals to be held in Kansas, USA, from May 21 to 26, 2024. Among them, five public schools with 35 students have been chosen to represent Qatar in scientific challenges, where they will compete against peers from 20 countries and over 50 states in the USA.

Al Faisal Without Borders Foundation, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, has been diligently preparing the teams for the upcoming Global Finals. This support ensures that the Qatari representatives are well-equipped to showcase their talents and skills on an international stage.

H E Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani, the Founder and Chairman of Al Faisal Without Borders Foundation, expressed his pride in the participation of Qatari school teams in the programme. He sees this as a valuable opportunity to demonstrate Qatar's educational standards and creativity globally. Sheikh Faisal extended his best wishes to the teams for a successful performance at the competition.

Eng Abdullatif Ali Al Yafei, the General Manager of Al Faisal Without Borders Foundation, highlighted the significance of international participation for students. He emphasized that such events provide invaluable experience in tackling intellectual challenges, thereby enhancing their skills for future scientific pursuits.

The 'Destination Imagination' programme in Qatar not only promotes creativity and innovation but also offers students a platform to showcase their talents on a global scale.
