Sindh Madressatul Islam University is gearing up for its annual Students Council elections, offering students a chance to participate in democratic practices and shape the future of their university community.

Sindh Madressatul Islam University's Directorate of Students Affairs and Counselling is gearing up for the annual elections for the Students Council for the upcoming 2024-25 term. The voting is scheduled to take place on the university premises from 10:00am to 02:00pm. This event is a significant opportunity for students to actively participate in the democratic process and elect their representatives.

The Students Council comprises eight student societies, each playing a unique role in the university community. These societies include the Science Society, Debating Society, Community Service Society, Character Building Society, Literary Society, Arts Society, Sports Society, and Music Society. Through these societies, students have the chance to enhance their leadership skills and embrace democratic values in a competitive yet supportive environment.

Dr. Mujeeb Sahrai, the Vice Chancellor of Sindh Madressatul Islam University, has underlined the importance of upholding this democratic tradition within the institution. He has encouraged students to participate in the election process peacefully and exercise their voting rights responsibly.
