CM Maryam Nawaz Grants Eid Reunions for Punjab Prisoners

Under the special directions of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, thousands of prisoners across Punjab were granted the opportunity to reunite with their families during the festive occasion of Eid. This compassionate gesture aimed to bring joy and comfort to both the inmates and their loved ones.

According to a recent announcement, families of prisoners were permitted to visit them in jails, bearing gifts of sweets and food items to share the spirit of Eid together. The visitation hours were scheduled from 9am to 4pm on the Eid days, allowing for meaningful interactions and emotional connections to be nurtured.

In addition to the in-person visits, the facility of phone calls with family members was also extended to the prisoners, ensuring that they could stay connected and feel the warmth of familial bonds even on the second day of Eid.

The families expressed their gratitude towards CM Maryam Nawaz for facilitating these heartfelt reunions and enabling them to cherish moments of togetherness with their incarcerated loved ones.
