CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif Ensures Eid Cleanliness and Security

As Eidul Azha approaches, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has taken decisive steps to maintain cleanliness and security throughout the province. To prevent environmental pollution, she has implemented Section-144, prohibiting the disposal of animal waste in canals and drains, as well as the unauthorized roasting of 'Siri Paey'.

CM Maryam Nawaz has directed the activation of control rooms at various levels to effectively execute the Eid plan. Special measures have been put in place for waste management and street cleaning post-sacrificial rituals in Lahore. Animal sale points have been established across Punjab, along with initiatives to safeguard drains and manholes from littering.

Security protocols at mosques and 'Eidgahs' have been scrutinized, with a focus on adhering to SOPs for the protection of lives and property. The CM has mandated the installation of mist fans, surveillance cameras, and walk-through gates for enhanced security. Additionally, she has stressed the inspection of children's recreational facilities to ensure safety standards are met.

CM Maryam Nawaz reaffirmed the government's dedication to upholding the law and emphasized the prohibition of illegal activities like loudspeaker use and weapon display. She underlined the significance of security at cattle markets, emphasizing cleanliness, water provision, and adequate visitor facilities.

In a separate message on International Father's Day, CM Maryam Nawaz recognized the pivotal role of fathers in child-rearing, acknowledging their sacrifices for a brighter future. She expressed gratitude for her father, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, highlighting the nurturing role fathers play in their children's lives.

Furthermore, CM Maryam Nawaz extended condolences for the tragic incidents in Vehari and Rawalpindi, directing prompt reports and rescue operations to ensure the safety of those affected and their belongings.
