A meeting led by DG ANF discussed launching a national campaign to combat drug use in schools, emphasizing collaborative efforts and strategic measures for a safer educational environment.

A significant meeting took place at the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Headquarters in Rawalpindi, chaired by Director General (DG) ANF, Maj Gen, Abdul Moeed, HI (M), to discuss the pressing issue of drug use within educational institutions. The meeting was attended by senior officers from the Federal and provincial ministries of education along with representatives from regulatory institutions.

The primary focus of the meeting was to devise a national-level campaign aimed at combating the drug menace that has been infiltrating educational settings. Participants unanimously agreed on the necessity of launching a comprehensive initiative to address this critical issue.

Furthermore, discussions were held regarding the recommendations put forth by the Higher Education Commission, particularly concerning the effective implementation of the Tobacco Policy 2021. DG ANF, Maj Gen Abdul Moeed, pledged full support and cooperation from the ANF to ensure the success of the upcoming campaign.
