The Islamabad Police, led by IGP Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, launches 'Nasha Ab Nahi' campaign to combat drug abuse, resulting in arrests of drug peddlers and absconders. The police intensify efforts to ensure public safety and maintain law and order.

The Islamabad Police, under the leadership of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, has initiated a special campaign named 'Nasha Ab Nahi' to tackle drug abuse and safeguard the youth from its harmful consequences. In a recent crackdown, the police successfully apprehended five drug peddlers across different areas of the city, confiscating a substantial quantity of drugs from their possession.

One of the significant arrests made during this operation was that of Nasir Ali by the Secretariat police, who was found in possession of 1,055 grams of heroin and 73 grams of ice. Similarly, Zaheer Ahmed was detained by the Karachi Company police with 530 grams of hashish, while Muhammad Rafique, Irfan, and Muhammad Munir were caught by Sihala, Nilore, and Bani Gala police respectively, with varying amounts of heroin and hashish. Legal actions have been taken against these individuals, with investigations currently underway.

Moreover, in a separate effort to maintain law and order, the Islamabad Police also apprehended 18 absconders and proclaimed offenders involved in serious crimes within the past 24 hours. This decisive action aligns with the directives of IGP Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, emphasizing the importance of capturing individuals linked to grave offenses.

The Islamabad Capital Police remains steadfast in its commitment to ensuring the safety and security of the citizens by intensifying its efforts to combat crime.
