DPO Nasir Mehmood emphasizes ECP code for by-elections

The District Police Officer (DPO) of Dera Ismail Khan, Nasir Mehmood, stressed the importance of adhering to the code of conduct issued by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to maintain law and order during the upcoming by-elections scheduled for 21st April. Chairing a crucial meeting to discuss preparations for the by-elections in NA-44 DIKhan, DPO Nasir Mehmood highlighted the need for strict enforcement of the ECP guidelines.

Key police officials including SP Investigation Dera Muzamal Khan, SP Saddar Umar Hayat Khan, and several DSPs and SHOs were present at the meeting to review the security arrangements put in place by the police department. Special instructions were given to sector in-charges to ensure compliance with the ECP's code of conduct and to fulfill their security duties effectively.

DPO Nasir Mehmood assured that all available resources would be utilized to ensure a peaceful electoral process and to uphold law and order throughout the district during the by-elections.
