Security measures in Dera Ismail Khan intensified for upcoming by-elections with a comprehensive plan announced by DPO Dera Nasir Mehmood to ensure peaceful electoral process.

Security measures have been intensified in Dera Ismail Khan as the by-elections for NA-44 approach on April 21. District Police Officer Dera Nasir Mehmood announced the finalization of a comprehensive security plan to uphold law and order during the electoral process.

The security plan includes stringent measures to ensure the safety of polling stations, election staff, and the impartiality of the police force. Special security arrangements will be in place to guarantee free and transparent elections. A 'code of conduct' for political workers and candidates will be strictly enforced to maintain order.

With a total of 4000 officials from Elite Force, RRF, Al-Baraq, and District Police assigned to 358 polling stations, security personnel will be strategically deployed based on the categorization of polling stations across the district. The constituency has been divided into three zones, four circles, eight sectors, and twenty-seven sub-sectors, each under the command of a sub-inspector.

Furthermore, the elite force will conduct patrols throughout the district, while police reserves will be on high alert to respond to any emergency situations that may arise during the by-elections.
