FWMC CEO Rauf Ahmad Emphasizes Eidul Adha Cleanliness Preparations

Faisalabad Waste Management Company (FWMC) CEO Rauf Ahmad has highlighted the crucial need for exemplary cleanliness arrangements in preparation for Eidul Adha. With the upcoming festival approaching, Ahmad has instructed all company wings to be on high alert and to coordinate effectively with other relevant departments to ensure a clean and hygienic environment for the celebrations.

During a recent meeting, the CEO emphasized the importance of finalizing all preparations well before Eid, with a contingency plan in place to address any potential challenges, such as rain. He also underscored the necessity of repairing essential infrastructure to support the waste management efforts effectively.

One of the key strategies outlined by the CEO is the distribution of biodegradable waste bags to promote eco-friendly waste disposal practices. Ensuring the cleanliness of cattle markets has been identified as a top priority, with plans to increase citizen awareness through the distribution of informative pamphlets. Additionally, mechanical sweeping of roads and the application of limestone and water at entry points have been mandated to enhance cleanliness standards.

To achieve these cleanliness goals, the operational, HR, IT, transport, workshop, and communication departments have been directed to collaborate seamlessly and work together towards a cleaner and healthier environment for the community.
