DPO Nasir Mehmood leads joint security operation

In a bid to ensure peace and security in Dera Ismail Khan, the district police, in collaboration with the Pakistan army, recently carried out a joint strike and search operation across various areas of the district. This operation was a proactive measure taken to address potential security risks and maintain law and order.

The operation, led by District Police Officer (DPO) Nasir Mehmood, saw the participation of multiple law enforcement agencies, including the district police, Pakistan army, elite forces, lady constables, and other well-equipped personnel. The concerted efforts of these forces targeted proclaimed offenders, narcotics dealers, individuals in possession of illegal arms and ammunition, as well as suspected individuals.

Furthermore, the law enforcement authorities engaged with local elders and dignitaries to seek their cooperation in identifying and reporting any illegal activities within their respective areas. These interactions aimed to foster a collaborative approach between the community and the police in maintaining a safe and secure environment.
