Punjab Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique has unveiled a plan to outfit every ambulance of the 1122 service with life-saving kits. The initiative aims to bolster emergency medical services throughout the province. The announcement came following a meeting with former health minister Professor Dr. Javed Akram at the Department of Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education in Lahore.

The discussions during the meeting primarily focused on enhancing treatment for patients, especially those afflicted with heart diseases. Professor Dr. Javed Akram generously donated a life-saving kit to the Emergency Services Department of Punjab, underscoring the significance of utilizing modern technology for procedures like Primary angioplasty, crucial in cardiac care.

Dr. Rizwan Naseer, Secretary of Emergency Services Punjab, expressed gratitude for the valuable contribution and emphasized the project's feasibility for presentation to the government. The collaborative effort, commended by Secretary Health Punjab Ali Jan Khan and other officials in attendance, represents a united endeavor towards fortifying the healthcare infrastructure in the province.
