The Municipal Corporation Rawalpindi organized an awareness walk led by Dr. M. Abdullah Tabassum to support the 'Suthra Punjab' program, emphasizing community involvement in maintaining cleanliness for a healthier and more attractive city environment.

The Municipal Corporation Rawalpindi recently organized an awareness walk to support the 'Suthra Punjab' program, with the guidance of Secretary Local Government, Shakeel Ahmad. The initiative, spearheaded by Chief Digital Monitoring Officer Punjab, Dr. M. Abdullah Tabassum, aimed to foster community involvement in preserving cleanliness within the city.

The event, starting at the Municipal Corporation office and concluding at Liaquat Bagh, witnessed the participation of key personalities including Chief Officer MC Rawalpindi, CO/RWMC Rana Sajid, CO/MCR Shahid Ghafoor Paracha, President Anjuman Tajran Rawalpindi Tariq Jadoon, President Small Chambers and Traders Chaudhry Fakhar Waraich, President Labour Wing MCR Amiruddin Mir, and Chairman UC 34 Rawalpindi, alongside numerous citizens.

Dr. Tabassum emphasized the crucial roles of both the public and government bodies in maintaining the city's cleanliness standards. He highlighted the importance of community engagement in revitalizing Rawalpindi into a cleaner and more attractive place to live.

The 'Suthra Punjab' program, supported by the Municipal Corporation Rawalpindi, aims to instill a sense of responsibility and ownership among citizens towards keeping their city clean.
