FDA Chief Engineer oversees Abdullahpur-Jhumra road flyover progress

The construction of the Abdullahpur-Jhumra road flyover project in Faisalabad has received a significant boost with the arrival of special heavy machinery at the project site. The Chief Engineer of the Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA), Mehar Ayub Gujjar, recently visited the site to oversee the progress and ensure the timely completion of the flyover.

One of the key aspects of the project involves placing girders over the railway track, a task that requires the use of heavy machinery. To facilitate this process, Pakistan Railway has adjusted its train schedules to accommodate the construction activities. The FDA is keen on leveraging this support to expedite the project and deliver it within the stipulated timeline.

With the necessary approvals in place, including the No Objection Certificate (NOC) for constructing the flyover over the railway track, heavy machinery has been mobilized from Islamabad and Lahore. Contractors have been directed to intensify their efforts to ensure swift progress. Key personnel involved in the project, such as Deputy Director Engineering Umar Iqbal, Assistant Director Muhammad Rizwan, and representatives from NESPAK and other companies, have been actively engaged in overseeing the construction activities at the site.
