The mega project of Abdullahpur-Jhumra Road flyover in Faisalabad is set to be completed within a month, pending clearance from Pakistan Railways. The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has been working closely with the Railways department to ensure all necessary approvals are in place. Chief Engineer FDA, Mehr Ayyub, confirmed that all outstanding matters, including land dues payment to the railways, have been resolved.

During a recent site visit to the flyover, Mehr Ayyub expressed optimism that the final approval from the Federal General Inspector Railways (FGIR) will be obtained shortly. Once the clearance is received, construction on the railway line section is expected to progress rapidly. Deputy Director Engineering Umar Iqbal and other officials, along with representatives from the construction company, were also present during the visit.

The completion of the Abdullahpur-Jhumra Road flyover will significantly improve transportation infrastructure in Faisalabad, easing traffic congestion and enhancing connectivity for residents and commuters. The project's timely completion will be a milestone achievement for the city, showcasing effective collaboration between government agencies and private contractors.
