ICCI President Advocates for Enhanced Educational Facilities in Islamabad

The President of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari, recently visited Islamabad Model College for Girls G-13 to underscore the critical need for providing essential facilities to educational institutions in the capital city. Bakhtawari highlighted that enhancing the progress of educational institutions is key to driving economic growth and improving the overall literacy rate in the country.

During his visit, Bakhtawari urged the government to prioritize the provision of crucial necessities such as teaching staff, security, furniture, laboratories, playgrounds, buses, and clean drinking water for the college. He emphasized that creating a conducive learning environment is vital for students' academic success and overall well-being. Allocating sufficient financial resources to bolster the education sector is essential for raising the literacy rate, which in turn contributes significantly to economic development and societal advancement.

As part of his commitment to supporting education, the ICCI president announced a donation of five computers, the installation of a water filtration plant, and the provision of a comprehensive first aid kit for the students at the college. Additionally, Bakhtawari advocated for the recruitment of permanent teaching staff and offered to personally cover the expenses of hiring a computer teacher to further enhance the educational experience for students.
