Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) shifts upcoming rally to Swat after being denied permission in Islamabad. Key PTI leaders decide on the relocation, gearing up for a successful event.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leadership has decided to relocate its upcoming rally, originally scheduled for June 8, to Swat following the denial of permission by the Islamabad administration. This decision came after a series of events that unfolded when the Islamabad district administration initially allowed PTI to hold a public rally in the capital city. However, despite an order from the Islamabad High Court (IHC), the permission was later revoked, leading to the party seeking an alternative location.

During a meeting attended by key PTI leaders, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, it was decided to move the rally to Swat instead of accepting the offer to hold it in Rawat. The party spokesperson confirmed that the relocation was a direct result of the Islamabad administration's refusal to permit the event in the capital.

Last Friday, the Islamabad district administration had authorized PTI to organize the rally on the Rawat-GT Road, but the situation took a turn when permission was retracted, prompting the party to explore other options. PTI leaders, such as Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, Secretary General Omar Ayub Khan, and Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Asad Qaiser, were present at the meeting where the decision to move the rally to Swat was finalized.

In light of these developments, PTI supporters and participants are now gearing up for the rally in Swat, which is expected to draw significant attention and participation. The party remains committed to its agenda and aims to make the event a success despite the last-minute change in location.
