Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has unveiled new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) aimed at bolstering the security of Chinese nationals in Pakistan. This development comes in response to the recent Bisham incident, where the Minister has vowed to ensure that those responsible are held accountable.
During a meeting with Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong in Islamabad, Minister Naqvi reiterated the government's commitment to implementing these new security protocols rigorously. He also shared that the Chinese Consulate Generals in Karachi and Lahore have expressed satisfaction with the current security measures in place for Chinese citizens residing in Pakistan.
Minister Naqvi emphasized that the enduring friendship between Pakistan and China remains unwavering, despite any attempts to disrupt it. He assured the Ambassador that the government is dedicated to safeguarding the well-being of Chinese nationals within the country.
