Interior Minister Naqvi Commends Islamabad Police's Swift Action

Recently, the Islamabad Police, led by Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi, successfully apprehended a criminal involved in stealing mobile phones from Saudi nationals in the F-8 Sector. This incident took place, and within a remarkable 12-hour timeframe, the culprit was captured. Despite the minister being away on an official trip to London, he promptly directed Inspector General of Islamabad Police Ali Nasir Rizvi to ensure the swift capture of the thief.

Utilizing advanced techniques such as geo-fencing, CCTV cameras, and human intelligence, the police were able to track down and arrest the accused individual, leading to the recovery of the stolen phones. IGP Ali Nasir Rizvi and Deputy Inspector General Ali Raza personally returned the mobile phones to the Saudi Embassy, where they were reunited with their rightful owners.

Interior Minister Naqvi praised the rapid response and effective coordination of IGP Rizvi, DIG Ali Raza, and their team, stating, 'The Capital Police's efforts in apprehending the suspect and recovering the mobile phones deserve high praise.' As a token of appreciation, Minister Naqvi announced a certificate of recognition for the dedicated police team involved in resolving the case.
